The Vintners Quality alliance (VQA) maintains standards of British Columbia and Ontario wines by ensuring grapes are from Designated Viticultural Areas (DVA).  The VQA has allowed Canada to join other leading wine-producing countries in developing a body of regulations and setting high standards for its finest wines.

   
Burrowing Owl Vineyards Burrowing Owl Vineyards is located in the Okanagan Valley, which lies at the same latitude as the great vineyards of France, Germany, Northern Italy, and Spain. They specialize in four grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cave Spring Cellars Cave Spring makes wines from vitis vinifera, the classic grape varieties of Europe. Nestled at the heart of a narrow, fifteen-kilometer shelf of the Niagara Escarpment, the Cave Spring vineyard is one of Niagara's oldest vinifera plantings

Creekside Estate Winery Creekside Estate Winery is located in the Niagara Peninsula village of Jordan Station. Creekside's wines are made from vinifera grapes only: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling for whites and Cabernet Franc for reds.
EastDell Estates EastDell Estates produces a range of VQA quality wines from Niagara grapes, as well as specialty fruit wines and Icewine. Their website details wines for sale, the culinary delights of Bench Bistro, tours, tastings, nature walks and private functions
Gray Monk Gray Monk, located in the Okanagan Valley, is one of British Columbia's oldest estate wineries. Some of the wines produced include Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Merlot.
Henry of Pelham Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery is a small estate winery, located on the Niagara Bench in Ontario. Owned and operated by the Speck family since 1988, the winery produces small volumes of handmade, VQA approved wine.
Hernder Estate Wines Established in 1993, Hernder Estate Winery produces 18-25 VQA wines. Vinifera varieties produced include Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Gris. French Hybrids include Vidal, Seyval and Baco Noir. Icewine.
